How did you come to be on the board of the HTPA?

I attended one of the fundraisers.  When I moved back to Tipton in August of 2016 I knew I wanted to support the Hardacre and volunteered my help in renovations.  From there I was invited to the board.

Why is the cause important to you?

I grew up in Tipton and the Hardacre has always been a part of my life.  As a young girl I have memories of being dropped off on a December Saturday afternoon for a free movie while my parents Christmas shopped in Tipton.  I attended countless movies as a teenager and I took my children there when visiting their grandparents.  Beside the convenience of local entertainment, and contributing to the local economy, the Hardacre is a wholesome contributor to fond memories.  I want everyone in Cedar county to have the opportunity to build new memories.

Hobbies and Interests

I enjoy reading, especially historical fiction, crafting and scrapbooking, genealogy, acting, movies, and renovating my 1909 home.
